Happy Sunday!

Everybody knows how much I LOVE my Sunday, Fundays!! They just seem to be filled with a certain celebratory spirit! While today is a touch on the cozy side with me playing dress up & my husband working on his latest project- fixing up my dearly departed NannaB's old '60s record player- I decided to share some pics from last Sunday.

March 3, 2013 marked our six year wedding anniversary & we couldn't be happier! The day was filled with all the things we love about our new home- Brooklyn, NY- including breakfast at Shane's, Brooklyn Flea hosted in it's gorgeous winter venue, macaroons & hot chocolate in Dumbo, sunset & watching the city light up at the Brooklyn Bridge, lovely candlelit din in Cobble Hill, & finally, celebratory drinks & dancing to our favorite jukebox tunes at Sunset Park's Irish Haven! It was absolute perfection & felt like a highlight reel of amazing things to come. This is definitely my kind of fairy tale <3

A quick beforehand apology for the quality of these pictures & not posting all week! My camera went to tech heaven the same week I decided to start my blog- can you believe it?! Haha! Ah well, such is life..more pics to come, I PROMISE!

Having been out from breakfast to last call, I decided to keep my ensemble casual because you never know what adventure- or the weather- might bring. So the day called for my black velvet, high waist trousers, studded chambray button up, & anorak jacket with assorted jewelry. Here are some pics, enjoy!

Think Spring

This week has been such a blur of fun- with this weekend looking to be even better- that I almost didn't realize it was the first day of March. Huzzah! I adore the month of March! Not only is it the month that ushers in the beloved Spring season, it always marks the celebration of my Wedding Anniversary <3

As my husband & I wandered & window shopped the Brooklyn streets today, I saw a sign posted on a door exclaiming, "THINK SPRING!" Indeed.
And Amelie's fashion illustrations are just the thing!
